-====Why I'm Running====
-I want to improve life in the US and the world and so people learn about and hopefully join the Green Party.
-I want money going to wars used for US - wars and the preparation for wars have a major environmental impact.
-US Peace Memorial Foundation lists many of the peace activists and peace organizations I'm involved with.
-I've been most involved with: [[https://wilpfus.org|Women's International League for Peace and Freedom]]
-[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Addams|Jane Addams]] founded WILPF in 1915 - I'm convener of the Jane Addams branch of WILPF US.
-Please sign the petitions at [[https://worldbeyondwar.org/individual|World Beyond War]] and Project Enduring Peace (PEP)
-I share my vision for the world with Founding Mothers Movement.
-Although the Green Party isn't a peace organization per se, its platform emphasizes peace.  Jill Stein has attended numerous peace rallies in DC.
-I have been a Green since 2014 and appreciates the party’s positions of
-[[environmentalism]],
-[[nonviolence]],
-[[social justice]],
-[[participatory democracy]], and
-[[anti-racism]].
